Bio

W.J. Ross is a composer specializing in emotional, orchestrally driven music for film, video games, and concert. An alumni of Duquesne University’s Music Technology program, he approaches scoring as a narrative tool, writing music designed to deepen the psychological and emotional impact of a story.
 

Alongside his composition work, Ross provides professional orchestration and sheet music engraving. His background in music notation began at age 13, an interest that accelerated after an early piano arrangement gained traction on MuseScore. He has continually honed his technical craft through his education, evolving that early passion into a professional approach to music production and collaboration.
